Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using ipstar.net ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

The Service provides IP lookup, geolocation, reputation and proxy testing information aggregated from public and commercial third-party sources. All outputs are for informational purposes only.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to target, harass, or harm any individual.
• Attempt to bypass per-IP rate limits, including by rotating IPs to circumvent them.
• Use automated tools to scrape the Service at volume that harms our upstream costs. (If you need API access, contact us — we can usually accommodate at a fair price.)
• Use our output as the sole basis for any credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or similar purpose covered by the FCRA, GDPR Article 22 automated decision-making, or equivalent laws.

4. Account & subscription

Most of the Service is provided free of charge without registration. If future paid tiers are offered, their billing, cancellation and refund terms will be disclosed at checkout.

5. Intellectual property

Trademarks, logos and original site content are owned by IPStar Tools. You may reproduce small excerpts for review or discussion as long as you link back to the original page. Scraping the entire review list to republish on a competing site is not allowed.

6. Third-party content & links

The Service contains links to external providers and their websites. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, pricing or terms. You review our Privacy Policy for a list of upstream data providers.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. Specifically, we disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Geolocation and reputation data are approximate and often incomplete.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IPStar Tools' total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts actually paid by you to IPStar Tools in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless IPStar Tools from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy or consumer protection law.

10. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved by binding, non-class arbitration before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) before a single arbitrator under the Expedited Procedure.

11. Severability & changes

If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in full force. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top of this page is the effective date of the latest version.
